Inside

• Some figures : 100,000 sq.mt (70,000 of building; 36,000 of courtyard ).
  

• The stables: on the "Moro" 's ( Ludovico Sforza ) accomodate two thousand horses. Nowdays , you can see them inside , during some exhibitions.

• The "Strada coperta" ( inside ): this causeway (164 mt long and 7 mt wide) connected the castle to the "Rocca Vecchia" forstress and made it possible to pass quickly from the castle to the open countryside .

• The Maschio: inside there are decorations of the arm coats of the Sforza family. The frescoes of the "Loggia della dame", attributed to Bramante, are today unfortunately destroyed.
