Eastern Grey
Kangaroo

Kangaroo is one of the largest living marsupials in Australia. They give birth to small hairless young at a very immature state. When the young are born they climb up the hair of their mother and get into her external pouch where they complete their development. Eastern Grey Kangoroos live in the Eastern Australia and in Tasmania up to 20 years. Their length 1 to 2.5m (3.2 to 8.2ft) and weight 25 to 60kg (55 to 132lb). They rest during the day and spend the cool nights grazing on grasses and plants, in fact they are herbivores or plant eaters. They travel only in mobs or groups up to 50. The strongest male takes charge, keeping younger males in line by biting, kicking or boxing.
